Mentorship

I served on the Board of The Creative Circus, a two-year advertising and design school in Atlanta, for 20 years.

I founded Iconologic's experimental internship program Iconoclasts. For three months, five new students spend 30 hours a week at the studio immersed in client work, classroom learning, and an independent project aimed at helping the local community.

I also founded Iconologic's Design Camp. Every summer, 15-20 youngsters spent a week in the studio learning our trade. The results were always inspiring.

I served on the Advisory Board of Waldorf School of Atlanta. We recently rebranded the institution.

My wife and I spent three months in Thailand teaching English to high school girls and Buddhist monks. I taught the monks.

I am the founder of Rising Sons, a tribe of fathers and sons who spend time together discovering the world. Part Boy Scouts, part Outward Bound, Rising Sons is an organization that provides boys ages 6-14 and their fathers bonding time beyond the world of popular culture and academic pressures.
