Surterra Wellness | Brand Experience


Objective: Help Surterra Wellness, a $150 million medical marijuana startup, redefine its brand experience, de-stigmatize and demystify the category, and build an e-commerce infrastructure that facilitates ease-of-use in a customer-unfriendly environment.

Approach: The cannabis industry is growing exponentially, but it's not all about getting high—it’s about helping to naturally regulate and improve everything from mood, focus, stress, and pain levels. The key to capturing the market is to rapidly shift consumer perceptions and provide a clear path to wellness. Result: Surterra completed its fifth round of funding in October of 2018 and is poised to scale its commerce and retail footprint to five more states.

Scope: Ethnography, Brand Strategy & Positioning, Web App, Retail and Pop-Up Design
